VISION

Every person released from incarceration has what they need to make a successful return home.

MISSION

To work together to provide support for everyone getting out of jail or prison and coming back to our community by addressing the deficits and absence of resources needed to help make reentry a positive and successful experience. As a Council we collaborate to address the challenges of this population and we connect with each other to coordinate appropriate referrals for needed supportive services.

Resource Fairs held at the detention center and at state facilities assist in helping releasees prepare for their return home and to understand what services they may need to fulfill their release plan and their goals.

Reentry Connections occurs at least 4 times per year at various locations in the county.  This event is for individuals who were recently released and their families. It is an opportunity to learn about the many services, programs and resources that are available and support a successful return home.

Reentry Council meets at least 4 times annually.  This is a collaborative approach to problem solving.  Practitioners, service providers and correctional professionals engage in coordinating resources, sharing of information and connecting to coordinate service delivery and appropriate referrals and resources.
